The Transamerica Chicago Triathlon will be held this Sunday, August 27th. The course extends along the lakefront from 31st Street north to Hollywood Avenue from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. You should expect traffic and access delays starting several hours before the event starts until after the event concludes due to set up and tear down of the event course. There will also be several Lake Shore Drive ramp and local road closures. In particular, access to Monroe and DuSable Harbors will be severely disrupted. Contact your harbor for more information.
