ATTENTION Chicago Boaters. If you are interested in purchasing monthly parking for the East Monroe garage near Millennium Park and Michigan Avenue shopping you may do so. A special rate of $537.00 for three months of unlimited parking has been offered to the Chicago Boaters. If you are interested, please call (312) 819-9538 to make arrangements and mention the Chicago Harbors.
BURNHAM HARBOR BOATERS, please be aware that the Chicago Police Department will be holding the annual St. Jude's parade on Sunday May 4, 2008 from 8a.m. to 10a.m. If possible, please avoid coming down to Burnham harbor until after 11a.m. If you must come down between the hours of 8a.m. and 11a.m., please use northbound Lake Shore Drive and exit on Waldron which is the street south of Soldier Field. If you are traveling southbound on Lake Shore Drive, we suggest that you turn around at 31st Street head northbound and exit Waldron. Traffic personnel have been instructed to let boaters through and parking has been reserved in the south lot. If you have any questions, please call the harbor office at (312) 747-7009.
Recycling Alert ! We want to remind you of our recycling program for the Chicago Harbors. Each dock and each harbor office has a supply of blue bags for recycling. These bags are available to you, free of charge. According to the City of Chicago's program, recyclables such as aluminum cans, plastic bottles and newspapers should be placed in Blue Bags and then deposited in the regular dumpsters at the harbors.
