Experience the “In-Field” of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series
Chicago Harbors Boater’s Bash Announced as Lake Michigan’s Largest Floating Party
**Admission will be paid for at the event. Guests will be given Boater’s Bash flags with admission that must be displayed while in attendance. BOATERS CAN ARRIVE AS EARLY AS 9:00am**
The Chicago Harbors invite you to cheer on the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Chicago at the lakeshore’s largest floating party, the Chicago Harbors Boater’s Bash, in Monroe Harbor June 11th and 12th from 12 to 6pm!
The oldest trophy in world sport is visiting a freshwater racecourse for the first time in it’s 165 year history debuting foiling, wing-sailed catamarans that will race at speeds up to 50 knots on the waters directly in front of Monroe Harbor. If the event is to be compared to Formula One style racing on water, think of the Chicago Harbors Boater’s Bash as the in-field party!
Floating just inside the Monroe Harbor breakwater only a few yards away from the actual racecourse, the Chicago Harbors are installing a 100-foot platform for boaters to come raft up to while the DJ’s and drinks spin up the vibes as you catch all the racing and commentary on a massive on-water LED jumbotron screen!
Come enjoy an entire afternoon of racing without ever having to turn down the music. Passes to the Chicago Harbors Boater’s Bash can be purchased for $50 per boat per day at the event. Admission is free for boaters who have separately bought a Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Chicago Boaters Pass.
Want your friends to meet you at the party? Tender service to boats anchored at the Chicago Harbors Boater’s Bash will be available to guests from the Monroe Harbor office for $15. Make sure guests have a specific invitation to a specific boat, as party crashers will be returned to shore. Moorings and rafting will be available on a first-come first-serve basis so grab your spot early!
